Excitement.** Put together your dream team and experience a weekend full of exciting team matchups inspired by the famous MLP team events! Look forward to thrilling matches, an incredible atmosphere, and lots of Pickleball. Whether you’re competing for the prize money or simply want to enjoy an unforgettable weekend with your teammates, this event is all about the team experience. Gather your teammates, choose your team name, and join the action! ⸻ **Team Composition** * Each team must consist of **at least 2 women and 2 men (4 players)** and may have **up to 3 women and 3 men (6 players)**. * All players must be submitted in **descending DUPR order** during registration. * The **combined DUPR rating of the team’s top four players must not exceed 15.** * The DUPR value at the time of registration is what counts * Players without a DUPR rating are rated 3.0 ⸻ **Entry Fee & Registration** **Entry Fee:** **€200 per team** To secure your team’s spot, the **Team Captain** registers through **Circle Square** and pays the **€20 registration deposit**. Afterwards, the Team Captain sends the complete team roster to [**pickleball@gamma-europe.com**](mailto:pickleball@gamma-europe.com) and pays the remaining **€180** no later than **one week before the tournament**. Once we have received the player list and the full payment, your registration is complete—and your team is officially entered into the **thePickle Teamcup**! ⸻ **Group Stage** The group stage consists of **4-team round-robin groups**. **Match Schedule** * 1 vs. 2 * 3 vs. 4 * 1 vs. 3 * 2 vs. 4 * 1 vs. 4 * 2 vs. 3 ⸻ **Team Match Format** Each team matchup consists of **4 matches**: * Women’s Doubles * Men’s Doubles * Mixed Doubles 1 * Mixed Doubles 2 **Match Format** * Rally scoring to 21 points (No Freeze) * Side change at 11 points * One timeout per team per match * At 20–20, a team must win the game while serving. ⸻ **Playoffs** Following the group stage, the tournament continues with an **8-team single-elimination bracket**. **Qualification** * Group Winners * Group Runners-up and/or the Best Runner-up **Knockout Stage** * 4 Quarterfinals * 2 Semifinals * Third Place Match * Final ⸻ **Standings** Teams are ranked based on: 1. Number of Team Matches Won 2. Point Differential 3. Head-to-Head Result ⸻ **Prize Money** The prize pool depends on the number of participating teams. **With 24 Teams** **1st Place – €600** **2nd Place – €400** **3rd Place – €200** **4th Place – €100** **Prize Pool Scaling** * 20 Teams: **75%** of the full prize pool * 16 Teams: **50%** * 8 Teams: **25%** * 6 Teams: **€100 for 1st Place / €50 for 2nd Place** * 4 Teams: **€100 for 1st Place** The tournament will be cancelled if fewer than **4 teams** register. ⸻ **Playing Schedule** * Up to 12 Teams: **Saturday only** * Up to 24 Teams: **Saturday & Sunday** * Up to 32 Teams: **Friday, Saturday & Sunday** ⸻ **Important** This is **not** a ranking or DUPR-rated tournament.
